Roger's Connection demonstrates the link between form and function in structures, both natural and man made. The magnetic connections allow an infinite number of angles to be made at each hub which are not locked into place. Without a locking mechanism, it is not possible to build artificially stable structures which stand by virtue of a rigid connection. Therefore Roger's Connection only allows forms to be erected which are stable due strictly to their form. A valuable lesson for aspiring Architects, Engineers and professionals concerned with structure.

Roger's Connection contains thirty 4 inch long molded plastic struts with 60 super strong magnets embedded, two in each strut, fourteen 5/8 inch nickel plated steel balls, and a generously illustrated insert with building ideas and advanced concepts. This set contains enough parts to build the icosahedron shown above, as well as many more designs.
